Matte Luxury and Terracotta Charm: Materials of Mango Courtyard

  • Material Used: Italian Style Single Lazy Sofa, Calcutta Classique Quartz, Arctic Glass Block, and Polished Smoked Black Acrylic Sheet

A trail surrounded by a glistening water body, an area that has been covered by juicy fresh Mango trees, and exquisite dining space at its tail, yes, we are speaking about none other than Mango Courtyard, Gujarat. The concept was to retain all the mango trees, and hence all its primary path was laid in such a way that they connected with its volume. The water around gives the user a new fresh feeling of calmness and peace, the warm lights create a spectacular moment of serenity. And what better than the smell of fresh mangoes? 

Material of Architecture

The materials that created a sense of life and beauty: Yellow suede matte fabric, tv terracotta Jaali’s, Elena chandelier six light and Pretta ash outdoor tile

Yellow Suede Matte Fabric

A kind of fabric that is non-reflective, has a smooth finish and gives out a velvety look. This fabric provides an elegant look while giving a supple and sophisticated feel. Mainly used in upholstery work, drapery, or decorative accents. 

Advantages

  1. Deluxe look: the matte provides a very luxurious feel, blending into any item and space it has been provided.
  2. Durability: it can stand the test of time when taken proper care.
  3. Good insulator: it has natural insulating properties, in winter it can help you in providing warmth. 
  4. Soft and Comfortable: due to its velvet texture, the fabric is soft and silky, which is comfortable and supple

Factors to Consider: 

  1. Stain and water sensitive; it is prone to leave stains when water is spilled, creating a stain, which might not be pleasant to the eyes. However, taking proper care can avoid such circumstances
  2. Limited color ranges: the fabric comes with minimum choices of colors compared to other fabrics
  3. High maintenance: this fabric needs special care, to maintain its aesthetics and appearance.

 TV Terracotta Jaali’s

They are the material made from terracotta clay which looks like a TV.

Advantages:

  1. Unique aesthetic: it provides a different kind of aesthetic to the space.
  2. Ventilation: it allows you to have a better circulation of air, which in turn helps you to be fresh and healthy indoors.
  3. Light Diffusion: it allows you to have a smooth play of light and shadows.

Disadvantages

  1. Fragility: Terracotta Jaali’s are delicate to handle, and can be broken easily, you have to be extra careful while working around them.
  2. Limited availability: this material is not readily available in all the regions, and thus might require the user to wait before its application. 

Elena Chandelier Six light

Elena Chandelier Six Light, has six individual lights arranged in a chandelier-style configuration.

Advantages

  1. Visual impact: A chandelier is a statement that adds up beauty to the space, it is an elegant focal point for your room.
  2. Ample Lighting: with six lights at its main point, the chandelier illuminates the space in every nook and corner.

Disadvantages:

  1. Installation challenges: installing the chandelier can be very challenging, and can be very difficult to relocate.
  2. Cost: depending on the brands and material it can be a significant cost.

Pretta ash outdoor tile

Advantages:

  1. Durability: it can withstand any weather conditions, they are resilient and less prone to damage.
  2. Low Maintenance: they are relatively easy to clean and maintain than other floorings
  3. Versatility: they come in different shapes and sizes giving them a unique 

Disadvantage:

  1. Slipperiness: some tiles are very slippery when wet. 
  2. Not suitable for Hot weather: certain types of tiles, are not suitable for areas of extreme heat which can be not comfortable to walk on.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the mango courtyard creates a serene and luxurious environment involving its varied materials, the integration of the yellow suede fabric adds up the sense of color and its various creative dimensions, the Pretta ash tiles create a classic scene to the eyes, and the Elena Chandelier six lights glows up the space and the terracotta fills up the space with a sense of timelessness. With all of these elements combined, the magic in the space seems real.
