Veneer is a thin layer of wood (usually thinner than 3 mm) that is stuck onto the surface of a cheaper material, especially wood, particle board or medium-density fiberboard to give it a better appearance. Compared to wood, one of the primary advantages of using veneer is stability. Solid wood can be prone to warping and splitting, but veneer is made of thin layers of wood glued together, hence the chances of splitting or cracking are reduced.
These flat panels are commonly used as doors, panels for cabinets, parquet floors and parts of furniture.
Let’s see an example of a Veneer door and estimate its price.
So the cost for a veneer door of 2400mm height and 1200mm width will be ₹ 5,600/-
