The word “chromatic” means produced by colors. The Chromatic house is the opposite concept of rectangular urban plots. These plots usually generate rectilinear plans which result in compartmentalized domestic lives. The clients are a youthful family of five who desired an active lifestyle and are keen on spending time with each other. The house comes with a balanced plan of a home and a lawn in a diagonal, but equal, figure-ground that references to a more rural pitched roof form with a long verandah.
