Material Of Architecture:
The most notable materials used in this project are Crown Red Orange Brick, Textured Frosted Glass, Petal Terracotta Jaali, Modern Sputnik Chandelier. Let’s take a quick sneak peek at these materials in a nutshell.
Crown Red Orange Brick:
They are popular for their warm, rich tones of red and orange, which is achieved through a specific mix of clay and then baking it in certain temperatures. The undertones along with a sandy texture can bring a warm and earthy appeal to any home. Because of its natural texture and color variations, each brick has a unique look and feel, making it an ideal choice for creating a visually interesting and eye-catching facade.
Advantages
- Have insulating properties of retaining heat. They can keep a home warm in and cool in summers
- bricks are low-maintenance and require little maintenance, making them a cost-effective option in the long run.
Factors to Consider
- Difficult to modify once they have been installed.
- The natural variation in colour and texture are beautiful but they also make it difficult to achieve a specific look or style.
Textured Frosted Glass
It is made by rolling a textured pattern onto one side of a sheet of molten glass. As it cools down, it leaves permanent impressions, creating a beautiful frosted texture. They can be used for creating partitions. They allow natural light to pass through them, creating a space filled with lots of light. The texture of the glass can also add depth and dimension to any room, while simply complimenting the design style of a particular space.
Advantages:
- Diffuses light, creating a soft and even glow.
- add an elegant and sophisticated look to any space.
Factors to consider:
- expensive than traditional clear glass.
- more difficult to clean than smooth glass surfaces
Petal Terracotta Jaali:
Terracotta means baked clay. This jaali adds an earthly warm feeling in any space, where it is used. It can be used both as an exterior facade or interior partitions. The petals are typically arranged in a repeating pattern, creating a visually stunning effect. It allows for beautiful interplay of light and shadow.
Advantages:
- Jaali screens provide privacy while still allowing for ventilation.
- Durable material that can withstand the elements.
Factors to consider:
- Can crack or break if it is not handled or installed properly.
- Jaali can be expensive to install
Modern Sputnik Chandelier:
Its name is inspired by the first artificial earth satellite. The design of Chandelier is a contemporary take on the iconic mid-century modern light fixture. It is characterized by its abstract, starburst design, featuring multiple thin arms that protrude from a central sphere. The modern sputnik chandelier makes a bold statement in any space with its unique and eye-catching design. It is often used as a focal point in contemporary and modern interiors.
Advantages:
- Multiple arms of the chandelier provide ample light for the entire room.
- Comes in a variety of finishes and sizes
Factors to consider:
- can be quite expensive, especially if it is made from high-quality materials such as brass or chrome.
- installation of the sputnik chandelier can be complex, especially for larger fixtures. Professional installation is often recommended.
Conclusion:
Every material in this house comes together to create a home filled with comfort and freedom. Design Studio has created a house that is home, filled with light, a sense of belonging and joy for those who live there.
